The PAIN-PlatfoThe PAIN-Platform for the Support of New Researchers at IdiPAZ aims to encourage new professionals of the institution to start their research career at IdiPAZ, supporting them in the design and development of research projects in health, with a high methodological and strategic quality. It also promotes training in cross-cutting aspects of research to all staff who are starting their research career at IdiPAZ.
 

The Mentor Program and the Pre-Mentor Program are currently in effect at IdiPAZ.

Mentor Program
IdiPAZ, with the encouragement of HULP, has launched a mentoring program to support our clinical researchers in achieving competitive projects within the framework of the call for Strategic Action in Health of the Carlos III Institute of Health.
 
The Mentor program provides scientific and technical support in the preparation and monitoring of research project proposals, as well as having the experience and scientific background of our most senior researchers at the beginning of the career of the most junior researchers.
 
Among the objectives of the Mentor program are the following:
  • Increase the critical mass of clinical researchers at IdiPAZ who apply for the AES call.
  • Establish mechanisms for generational replacement in research.
  • Strengthen the research profile of our clinicians, within the pillars of care, teaching and research.
  • Position IdiPAZ as a benchmark in translational research, at the level it has in clinical trials.
  • To carry out a cultural change in the field of clinical research..
To achieve these objectives, the following training itinerary has been designed:

Prementor program

IdiPAZ, with the support of the Hospital Universitario La Paz, has launched a program aimed at our predoctoral researchers in order to support them in achieving their PhD.
 
The objectives of the program are:
- Increase the number of researchers with Ph.D. degrees at IdiPAZ.
- Promote high quality training of researchers.
- To bring about an internal cultural change in translational research in biomedicine.
 
The Prementor Program provides training and technical support during the second and third tutorial year of the doctoral studies of our predoctoral researchers. The following webinars will be held as part of the Prementor Program training plan:
